Isabel Lieser
Isabel Lieser is a writer/filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. When she is not writing for Bedwetters, she is producing short films with her production company Die She Must. Isabel graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a major in Media Arts Production (emphasis on screenwriting), and a minor in Comedic Writing and Performance in 2023. At Emerson, Isabel dove head first into the comedy scene, creating her own sitcom starring college aged puppets, Third Bird, which ran for three seasons under her leadership. She was the Head Writer of the 41st Annual Evvy Awards, the largest student run and produced multicam award show in the country, a finalist in the Jess Ilias Clavelli Comedy Competition, as well as a member of the improv and sketch troupe Swomo. Before the strike, Isabel was a TV Development Intern at Feigco Entertainment. Isabel’s writing can best be described as walking the line, exploring the somber sides of life and relationships through the lens of comedy, and vise versa, through outrageous concepts grounded in tense reality. Originally from Castine, a small town on the coast of Maine, Isabel spends most of her free time in the left turn lane off Santa Monica Blvd., attempting to understand the stock market, and grumbling about how outrageously large the blueberries in Los Angeles are.
